CABLE WHARF, NORTHFLEET - HERITAGE TRAIL AND PUBLIC ART COMMISSION

Arc are appointed by Keepmoat Homes to provide landscape design services for the Thames-side development within the Ebbsfleet Garden City. The heritage of the former site if of local significance and Arc have developed a comprehensive heritage wayfinding and interpretation strategy. This followed detailed research and consultation with local heritage groups and experts at Kent County Council.

Arc have also been responsible for managing a major public art commission where our input included developing a brief, shortlisting artists, interviews (including with local stakeholders) and arrangement of contracts etc with the selected artists NEON. We have subsequently been involved in the planning and detail design stages of the artwork and park within which it will sit above a former bear pit, which is preserved below ground.
