MASONS HILL, BROMLEY

Arc are appointed to design the public realm areas and communal roof garden for this high density development in Bromley.

Using high quality materials and carefully considered planting the scheme proposals have been developed to provide an attractive space for residents and those working in the adjacent development to use. A young children’s play area has been creatively incorporated into the upper floor roof garden.

In seeking to address GLA policy, Arc prepared Urban Greening Factor calculations and play area requirements based on anticipated child yield calculations.

As part of the design process and planning application, Arc prepared a TVIA which considered the impact of the proposals on the townscape character and views. Following GLA guidance, visualisations (AVRs) were prepared by specialist consultants F10.
