NORTHFLEET EMBANKMENT, KENT
Arc are appointed by Keepmoat to work on the re‐development of a brownfield site which will become part of the wider Ebbsfleet Garden City. Working with Cooper Bailey Architects and planners, Barton Willmore, Arc have undertaken a TVIA (as part of the EIA) as well as providing input in to all aspects of hard and soft landscape design.
With a focus on high quality public realm, a major feature of the development will be a new riverside promenade. The design of this and other spaces draw on the site’s history including former industrial uses in cable manufacturing and the Rosherville Pleasure Gardens.
