Arc provided a rapid townscape and visual appraisal to support a submitted planning application within the London Borough of Southwark (LBS) for a site that falls within the Old Kent Road Opportunity Area. The proposals, designed by MaccreanorLavington Architects, will deliver a residential-led mixed-use destination with new workspaces and place of worship within a part three, seven, eleven and nineteen storey building.

Within the Townscape and Visual Appraisal consideration was given to the strategic views set out in the London View Management Framework, the borough views recognised within the New Southwark Plan, and local views identified within the Draft Old Kent Road Area Action Plan.
