Parnham Park, Beaminster, Dorset

Arc are appointed by Parnham Estate as landscape architects for their ambitious enabling development that aims to fund the conservation of the Grade I listed Parnham House. The enabling development will see the introduction of a new residential development designed to the highest standards so as to limit impact on the sensitive setting the Registered Park and Garden set within the Dorset National Landscape.

Arc have undertaken a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (with visualisations prepared by Preconstruct), the initial stages of which informed the design proposals. Working in collaboration with the owners of the estate and the project team led by DHA Architects, Arc have developed a landscape masterplan and design proposals for the streets and open spaces incorporating a natural swimming pool, woodland play and a community garden.
